This cozy dining space is from the San Francisco chapter of Nathan Turner’s book I Love California. What’s beautiful about this room is how lived in it feels. This can be the hardest thing to achieve when designing a space, making it feel like a home. It doesn’t happen overnight. Art and objects are curated and slowly over time you see the personality of the home emerge. A reflection of the homeowner and their life. There are layers of fabrics, velvet, floral patterns, art and vintage pieces throughout. And while this space is sophisticated it comes across as effortless, comfortable and inviting. The table cloth is Ralph Lauren custom-made in their Mapletone Floral fabric. It’s an unexpected pop of blue that compliments the rusty orange dining chairs perfectly. This is great inspiration for your Thanksgiving tabletop too. You can also see our Thanksgiving Tablescape and Holiday Entertaining posts for more ideas. We include everything you need to set the table, accessories, plates, glasses, and flatware.
